If you host a tournament where each player starts with 100 chips (T100) - your chip denominations should probably be 1, 2, 5, and 25. If you host a tournament where each player starts with 1000 chips - your chip denominations should probably be 5, 25, 100, and 500.
Starting Chips. When starting the tournament, make sure that each player has enough chips. Have at least 20 chips of smallest denomination. For example, when starting with $5000, your blinds start at $25-$50; have at least 20 green $25 chips.

Hi everyone, i have a cash game thread down below but this is for a tournament structure.
We currently play with: 8 x 25 8 x 100 6 x 500 6 x 1000 which equals 10000 chips.
But also we use 2 x 5000 chips beacuse i wanted to add these to favour better players.
My friend's chip set is like this: 100 x click the following article chips 100 x red chips 100 x white chips 100 x blue chips 100 x black chips Could somebody suggest a better chip distribution home poker starting chips blind structure to use, with remember to favour the better players.
So say starting with a high 'M' round about 200 or so?
I'm not sure how to go about arranging this.

Thanks everyone, and they don't have to be 25, 100, 500, 1000, and 5000, i'm posting here because i feel it needs to be changed, and generally 5 colours for a single table tourney is home poker starting chips a bad idea i think.
There is lots of poker play in the first four levels.
Near the end of the second four levels, lower stacks will be under pressure.
In the third four levels, it will end soon.
